“Rasenna” probably originates from “rasenu”, the Syrian coast from where it isbelieved that the Etruscans originated. Today Rasenna refers to the ancient coastal Etruscan area in the Latium region north of Rome, which is still now of high historic heritage value.

The area near to the sea has an excellent sea breeze. The Rasenna company was founded in 2007, in a changing Lazio scenario in which market strategies change continuously. The Rasenna company became Francesco Gambini’s dream come true: a young winemaker from Cerveteri; a town which is proud of its ancient viticulture tradition and is one of the most well known in theTyrrhenian area around Rome.
